The four pillars

There are four pillars to a good life: Exercise, nutritious food, sleep, and stress management. In addition to the basics of how they should come together, here you will find links to blog posts of mine relating to these subjects. Be warned: There are no quick fixes. No list of quick superficial tips here. To live a good life, you have to educate yourself and apply the knowledge. I have summarized the knowledge and can only encourage you to apply it - the last bit of execution is yours and yours alone.

Getting started

Step one to a good life is believing it's possible. But then what? Here's advice for how to approach changing habits, eating better, and how to become a person who exercises.

The importance of consistency

Living a healthy lifestyle consistently pays off. You may not even notice anything changing when you change your lifestyle, but when you look back in a few months or years, you'll see big changes! I know from experience that you may not even notice shrinking two dress sizes in a few months. Consistency is key!

Find healthy-living friends

You may be an independent person. You may be used to making your own schedule and managing your own tasks, and see being healthy as no different than meeting a deadline. You just schedule it in and get it done, right? Wrong. Like it or not, you are influenced by those around you. To make good lifestyle choices consistently, you need to connect with other people doing the same thing. Find healthy friends and communities, to inspire you and to let you experience the power of inspiring others in turn. It will re-make your idea of "normal" living for the much healthier!
